You can’t count on AC, misters or ceiling fans wherever you go. Waiting in line for ice cream? You melt.
We love the simplicity of the hand fan. It’s unobtrusive, requires no batteries, no assembly. It slips easily into a purse or back pack and provides immediate relief from the heat. But, we wanted to design ones that would appeal to the HOT people we knew, wherever they were.
Our bamboo and 2-sided paper fans are high quality with fabric cases to help them last. Our original nautical and beachy designs have a unique formula that pair classic patterns with a touch of whimsy to appeal to people of all ages.
This perfect accessory is a necessity for warm-weather, for travel and for all your hot friends and family.
HOW DO I OPEN THE HAND FAN?
Hold hand fan with FF logo facing you. Pivot top spine gently to the right. Bamboo ribs should lay flat and not twist.
The FF logo should end up to your right. Do not grab each spine and yank apart –for the lack of a better word, fan your fan open.
Please note: if it is opened backwards (top spine to the left), this may break the inner spines
I'M LEFT-HANDED, CAN I STILL FAN?
Yes! We have an in-house "leftie" who has fully tested the functionality of our hand fans. We're proud to report that they are 100% south-paw approved!
HOW DO I FAN MYSELF?
Fanning is all in the wrist. After opening the hand fan, hold it as if you might hold a book up to read to a group of small children.
Twist the palm of your hand towards you and then flick your wrist.
Hint: your arm should not move with proper fanning. If you knock over your neighbor, you are doing it wrong.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY HAND FAN?
Please handle with care. Our high-quality paper and bamboo hand fans are delicate by nature. They are neither disposable nor indestructible.
For maximum longevity, keep your fan closed and safe in it's bag when not in use.
Also, keep them away from liquids, small children, pets and fire. Do not use as a cocktail or coffee stirrer.
Does not function as a fly swatter, level or serving tray. Bag is machine-washable. Fan is not.
HOWEVER, fans must be opened in one direction. If you try to open the fan, and experience resistance, go the other way.
Fan Language
Be careful how you hold your fan. You never know what you might be "saying!"
"You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em." - Kenny Rogers
